FESA stands for Factorial Experimentation and Statistical Analysis. FESA is a web based online survey software, a product, designed and developed by e4Xchange Corporation. FESA currently uses mysql 4.0 database server.

What is a factorial Question ?

A factorial Question consists of a vignette with certain keywords referred to as "Factors" that will take up randomly chosen dynamic values from a set of "Levels" (levels are the values for factors.). Hence, the more number of factors and levels. The number of combinations will increase factorially corresponding. Hence, more number of combinations that can be displayed to respondents in the same vignette. This provides a wider range of scenarios for study by researchers and survey analysts.

How will I e-mail the link to respondents ?

FESA provides an interface where the respondents' e-mailed addresses are retrieved. You can choose the people to whom you want to send e-mails and press the send button. The mail will be automatically sent using FESA's e-mail program. All you need is an e-mail server. What do you do if it is an anonymous survey ? No problem ! You also have a text field, where you can manually type in the e-mail addresses of people to whom you wish to send the survey link.
